An interactive tour is a very easy way to show potential changes in the living environment to stakeholders. It is a web link to an interactive platform, in which viewers can click on various viewpoints. They can look around in panoramic photos, and they can switch between the current and the proposed future situation.

The combination between Windplanner and an interactive tour is very effective; the viewpoints that are created in a Windplanner project are easily exported into the interactive tour.

Have a look at an example 1 below. Click on ‘tour’ to have a look at 3 viewpoints (Beliënberdijk, Nieuwendijk and Droogleggersbaan). Switch between now and the future, by clicking on ‘current situation’  and ‘future situation’.

VR is included in the tour

Virtual reality (VR) is included in this platform, so it is an ideal tool to use at information events. If you open the interactive tour on a smartphone, you can view the project in, for instance, a Google Cardboard viewer.
